This issue includes a special section dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ETEA Foundation, Development Institute of Loyola Andalucía University. This Foundation has established itself as a reference in research applied to development, maintaining since then its most idiosyncratic characteristic: combining academic reflection with direct knowledge of the realities analyzed and the implementation in the field of actions and proposals linked to the improvement of the conditions of the societies with which it has collaborated. It is therefore an institution dedicated to university cooperation and multidisciplinary research in development. It includes articles dedicated to this historical review, to the institution's experience in rural territorial development and in education (primary and secondary) and gender, and to the relevance of the Jesuit and Ignatian aspects, from a pedagogical approach to the Ratio Studiorum.
The issue is completed with several articles from the International Congress on Rural Development, to which issue 307 was dedicated, and with an updated reflection on the ethics of the encyclical Pacem in Terris.
