Abstract
The capitalist economic system has developed a remarkable capacity to adapt to the different shocks it has faced over time.
Some of the most significant changes in the environment in recent decades have had a particularly relevant impact on some essential aspects of the functioning of markets, with special incidence on labor markets. This
document analyzes the evolution and impact of some of these changes.
