Abstract
Desde la crítica al que se ha denominado «pensamiento único», pero sin dejar por ello de reconocer la deficiente administración pública que de lo público se ha producido en los últimos lustros, el autor apuesta claramente por lo público y la gestión pública frente a la ola de privatizaciones que nos invade. Entiende que esta opción significa una apuesta por la democracia, ya que la toma de partido por lo público cuenta con dos referentes legitimadores indudables: la gestión de los asuntos comunes de la sociedad política se realiza en público y de forma más transparente, y dicha gestión de los asuntos comunes se determina por el público y para el público.
