Ten years of reflection and social action in the Society of Jesus at the turn of the century (1989–2000)

Abstract
In order to put this social conference into context, we include this article which contributes a historical persepective of the road followed by the Society of Jesus in the field of reflection and social action within the framework of improving the manifestation and execution of their missionary work in today’s world. The main stages of the process are stated and analysed, not only in the sphere of the Society as a whole but also at the specific levels of Jesuit Provinces in Spain.
