What part will justice play in our environment in the next few years?

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to situate the participants of the Conference within the context of the main challenges facing the fight for justice today. While not attempting to cover them all, the speaker chose eight specific subjects of enormous social concern which point towards a need to revise the existing socio–economic structure and build an alternative model of society: the dismantling of public social protection, immigration, job quality, access to credit, the increase in inequality in a dual economy, international solidarity, the judicial system, new forms of social alienation. As the speaker insists, everything points towards the need to work on the socio–economic structure in order to build a different kind of society.
