Agriculture and land in the European Union
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Bruges Group is a forum for European reflection set up in 1995 by Edgar Pisani in the Belgian city of Bruges. Since its creation it has brought together university professors, former agricultural union leaders, technicians from NGOs and members of ecological movements, combining different specialist areas in an effort to reflect on European agriculture and rural environment. This text was drawn up at the meeting held by the Group in Crakovia (Poland) in October, 2000, and has been published as an open letter by the different European media.
