The phenomenon of immigration in Spain

Abstract

A monographic issue on migration published in Spain would not be complete without an overall vision of what migration represents in this country. Taking into consideration some general data helps to get rid of certain clichés (such as the 'massive' arrival of immigrants). The question of integration is decisive, and depends in turn on legislation and social behaviour: this means analysing the logic behind how it is tackled, or could be tackled.
