The incidence of family life on job contracts
Main Article Content
Abstract
The necessary legal protection for the worker’s family interests can easily turn into a factor that makes it difficult for women to enter the working world. For this reason, the regulations protecting family life in the sphere of jobs must be combined with a series of measures that prevent discrimination. In this study, a systematic view is presented of how labour regulations protect the worker’s family interests, paying special attention to the repercussions that all of this has on the situation of women in the labour market. Thus, at the same time as both a description and an analysis are given of the different rights that can be exercised by a worker, consideration of the accompanying anti–discrimination measures is reflected.
