Family and the world of work
Main Article Content
Abstract
There can be no arguing with the fact that the structure and concept of ‘family’ today is very different from that of just a few decades ago. Undoubtedly the process of this change has been greatly influenced by the massive incorporation of women into the working world. This editorial precisely sets out to reflect on the relationships existing between family life and life at work, with references within the sphere of legal measures that the State has been taking in order to adapt the laws to the new circumstances. But this does not mean that we abstain from indicating the need for other social and family policies, as well as certain changes in mentality and organisation that the new situation demands from families themselves.
