Abstract

Immersed in XXI century, it can be seen that many of the institutions created in the last century must adapt their configuration and characteristics to new challenges that can be perceived on the horizon, in the field of economy in general and of business reality in particular. And civil services cannot remain oblivious to these challenges, but in the current situation must either quickly adapt themselves to the needs demanded by the public/clients or are condemned to ostracism or even to disappearance through inactivity, or even worse, through simple incapacity. In this text, we will try to focus our analysis on one of the aforesaid realities, those called Regional Development Agencies (RDAs), in order to illustrate certain reflections on the necessary change of paradigm that must be faced in the very configuration of their model if they want to successfully survive in the next few years.
