Abstract
El documento consta de una introducción y cuatro secciones. Cada una de las secciones se concentra en unas cuantas características de la situación de Europa, internamente y en un contexto global que OCIPE juzga importante para la misión de la Compañía de Jesús. No le corresponde a OCIPE proponer iniciativas apostólicas. Pero cada sección termina con sugerencias con respecto a la importancia de la precedente discusión para la Compañía.
Nuestros ministerios sacramentales y nuestra atención a la vida espiritual de las personas, sus esfuerzos y afanes, no se discuten directamente pero a lo largo del texto estarán implícitos. Este cuidado pastoral viene configurado por nuestro entendimiento del contexto social y cultural de la persona.
