Abstract

Immersed in a multidimensional crisis (economic, environmental, financial and about happiness), the world is facing the challenges of globalization through long and painful adjustment processes of the differences in labour costs and levels of inequality.
These transformation processes must overcome three reductionisms affecting, respectively, to our vision of the human being, its economic behaviour in social and productive organizations and to our way of measuring the value produced. To do this, our way of understanding the person, the company and the value must be enriched by introducing into the economic analysis the relational and cooperative component.
The “vote with the wallet” and the legislative reforms that promote greater competition, less corruption and tax evasion, higher education levels and more equitable access of women to the labour market may help to decrease the global inequalities.
