Abstract
The need to resolve the split between humanism and culturally dominant rationality criteria in the contributions of contemporary philosopher Michel Henry a valuable and current focus. This short paper proposes an approach to this approach, highlighting the key analysis made by that author on the critical situation of human beings in today's culture and possible clues to follow that flow from its proposal.
