The hunted hunter or death of Holofernes
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the previous issue, Professor Vílchez presented us with a profile of Judith's personality, highlighting how this biblical narrative elevates the dignity of women to heights that have not yet been reached in this era of gender equality. In this new article, which, like the previous one, is a preview of the extensive work he is preparing on this book of the Old Testament, the author offers us a recreation of what made Judith so famous: the death of Holofernes. The psychological analysis he carries out in his brief brushstrokes is important for a thorough understanding of this subtle biblical passage.
