The competition of the alternative in the world of religion
Main Article Content
Abstract
Based on the concerns, searches, and desires expressed by people who leave Christian churches and join one of the many sects, as well as the problems identified in the Report on Sects, which was compiled from a survey distributed to the Episcopal Conferences by various Vatican agencies, the author reflects on some pedagogical and pastoral elements that could be reviewed and reflected upon in order to “compete” with the often frustrating offers that these people receive from alternative religiosity and sects.
