Abstract
As witnesses to the Christian faith, we must consider “communication strategies” that open paths to truth and salvation. It would be inconsistent to imitate or reproduce within the Church and in its relationship with society the mechanisms of power and pressure that are used in the struggle for political and economic interests. Christian salvation cannot be imposed coercively, but must be presented as an offer that respects freedom. The communication of faith must be based on its own credibility, backed by a serious commitment to human dignity.
