Some challenges for religious life in the third millennium

Abstract
The last third of the 20th century has been a time of crisis for religious life: not only in terms of the number of believers opting for this way of life, which has decreased drastically - at least in developed countries - but also in terms of its identity, essence and function in the framework of a renewed ecclesiology, the post-Vatican II ecclesiology. Does it have a future? What should the People of God expect from religious? The author of this article gives us clues to think about these questions.
