The role of Theology in the University

Abstract
For more than a century, the Faculties of Theology have not had a place in the framework of civil universities in our Mediterranean and Latin American context. In Central Europe and the Anglo-Saxon countries the situation is very different. And one could ask oneself: Does theology have a "cognitive status", comparable to that of other sciences and disciplines? What would be its relationship with these? The author of this article introduces us to these questions and their possible answers.
