The War of God
Main Article Content
Abstract
Juan Gay, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Granada, offers a reflection on the situation inherited as a result of the attack on the Twin Towers on 11 September 2001. The aim is to shed light on the current scenario dominated by fundamentalisms of one kind or another, in which theological discourse is mixed with a more secular one activated by the quest for power. The author provides historical perspectives that undoubtedly clarify both the origin and the development of the international tension we are experiencing.
