Abstract
El excesivo fracaso de las relaciones de pareja en nuestro entorno incluso más próximo se ha convertido en un dato social dramático. La todavía incipiente mediación familiar está contituyéndose en una de las respuestas más prometedoras para afrontar la situación. José Costela, colaborador del Centro de Orientación Familiar Ronda 110 de Granada, propone en este artículo una introducción a la historia de la mediación familiar, una presentación de su metodología en la resolución de conflictos y una descripción tanto de datos fácticos como de procedimientos a tener en cuenta en todo el proceso de separación.
