The Korean Therapeutic Cloning Fraud ethical considerations

Abstract
The fraud revealed in one of the investigations that seemed to be the most advanced in the development of therapeutic cloning has jumped from the scientific field to the field of journalism and, with it, to that of public opinion. A few months after the controversy, and when the waters have returned to their course, it seems an opportune moment to clarify some concepts surrounding cloning, just as it also seems appropriate to make some ethical reflections on therapeutic cloning, its implications and on research work in the field of bioethics.
