Abstract

Christian reader finds in the reading of the Bible besides the historical literal sense, another generally accepted called spiritual sense, and a third one with a lesser approval, named full sense. The present paper wants to show that both interpretations are genuine and are entered in the stream of the Midrash readings that originated the OT and the NT. The article, after declaring what is understood for spiritual and full senses, analyzes the features of the Midrash and applies it to these senses.
