"The Word of God in the life and mission of the Church" A pastoral, innovative and mediatic Synod

Abstract
The XII Assembly of the Synod of the Word took place in Rome between the 5th and the 6th of October. The Synod was dedicated to the “Word of God in the life and mission of the Church”. It has been a meeting characterized by the novelty of the pastoral willingness and the impact of the media. However it’s early to make a deep assessment and though is not time for publication of the post-synodal exhortation, the paper tries to make an exposition of the development of the Synod process recently finished; it goes deeply into its novelty and points out the interest that aroused and makes a first balance of its possible results.
