Abstract

After the Foro Social Temático Español about “spiritualities and ethics for a better possible world” that took place in Seville the days 10, 11, 12 of October 2009, we collect in this article the collective reflection carried out by the “Iniciativa Cambio Personal Justicia Global” as preparation to the forum, which intends to answer the question that gives structure to this first Foro Social Temático Español: ¿Which spiritualities and which ethics are needed to build a possible better world?. The first point presents a spirituality understood as a vitality, as a boost that takes us to care for all things created, a spirituality that can be formulated in different languages, secular language included, and which declares itself essentially in a love for life and on a fight for justice. The second point presents an ethic built from what Adela Cortina calls “razón cordial”, an ethic of the compassion and the care which is in total harmony with spiritualities of life. Finally, the third point presents an idea of justice grounded in the focusing in the abilities and the human rights. A theory of justice that goes for a personal change for a global change, since without solidarity and benevolence we will be not ready to  take over the sacrifices that carries the respect of all human beings and of the whole creation.
