25 years of the spirit of Assisi Relevance of Francis' example

Abstract
On october 27, 1986, John Paul II meet in Asís with 70 representations of different religions with a clear message: religions must be promoters of fraternity and no violence. John Paul II chose Asís by the Saint Francis example as a symbol of peace and fraternity. In this article, we studied as Francis got ahead of his epoch considering the peace as order tranquility, concord and cordiality, and movement equilibrium. Likewise, in the fraternity feeeling of Francis, three levels can be differentiated: with the persons, with the creatures and with all the creation, so that he can be considered as the example to be followeed in the present ecological problem at the environmental, social, mental and ethical levels.
