Abstract
Last September the VIIth Symposium of Marriage and Procedural Canon Law took place in Granada (Spain). Among the activities of this gathering, a homage was paid to Fr. Estanislao Olivares, professor of Canon Law at the Faculty of Theology of Granada, and a member of the Ecclesial Tribunal of Granada, during several decades. Two months after this honour was offered, Fr. Olivares passed away. As a grateful remembrance of this review, with which he collaborated on many occasions, we publish the biographical sketch realized by professor Díaz Moreno in the course of the Symposium.
