Abstract

At the university scene it becomes patent the dialogue between the different uses of reason and the truths which through them are reached to. According to the author, it is necessary condition that no single use of those [uses] employed, be intended as monopoly of the reason itself, neither be it erected in privileged place to arrive to the true knowledge, or as the access to any absolute truth. How can theology enter into such dialogue? Which is the use of the reason that it may offer, fulfilling these dialogical conditions? Can it offer good reasons so that in that board of rational dialogue “between reasons”, the theological reason may be made welcome as a member of full standing? These are some of the questions that are given an answer in the present article.
