From atonement to reconciliation: a Pauline contribution to the interpretation of Jesus' death

Abstract
This study is especially focussed on the use Paul made of the tradition received by him, it analysis the imaginary of atonement, employed to interpret the death of Jesus, and discovers how the Apostle of Tarsus gives priority to the image of reconciliation. The work stops to analyze the change in the use of the images, clearly showing the transition from atonement to reconciliation.
