Abstract

To present a short synthesis of the relations between philosophy and theology, religion and culture, reason and faith is the purpose of this essay. In the first place there is an analyse of the historical antecedents of interaction of faith and reason in Greek philosophy and Christian theology. Immediately there is under consideration the interpellation of reason to faith and the opposite contribution of theology to philosophy, along the history. The origin and grow of philosophy of religion in the nineteen century pose a new historical situation. The reflexion displace God in benefit of religion itself, creating possibilities of a new learning to theology and philosophy, reason and God.
