Abstract
For centuries the visible face of the Christian community, the local parish now finds itself in a state of perpetual renovation. It does remain, however, the one permanent means by which the experience of God can be shared “among the houses of the people”, even in these precarious times. This article offers a proposal for “parish spirituality” born from common Christian-life features and the contributions from Novo Millennio Ineunte and Evangelii Gaudium.
