Abstract

Looking at the different moments in which the theme of the body and body of Christ are found in 1 Corinthians, a conflicting context can be detected. The theme serves Pablo to reinforce the idea of unity, but not from indifference or an “authoritative” approach but by taking a clear position in favor of the victims and the weak of the community.
