On the Anniversary of Johann Baptist Metz Reflections on his thought for today's theology
Main Article Content
Abstract
Contributing to the recognition that the great theological work of JB Metz, this article aims to shed light on our current situation of suffering and loss of confidence after this global pandemic. The first thing is to remember after a year of his death who Metz was and why his work attracts attention. History, suffering and hope are the words that become the axis of this article. What theological answers are there in the midst of so much suffering and grief ?I suggest facing difficulties with realism embodied in our present history and acting from the dynamics that go out to meet God in the midst of human weakness. Remember, repair, rebuild and do it together without ever forgetting those who suffer.
