The Schools, the new monasteries
Main Article Content
Abstract
In a triumphant time for the catholic faith, emerged the renewal and evangelizing monastic movement. The catholic schools may understand themselves from that same framework of success. However, the general crisis in education, particularly the ecclesial one, makes us look for new paradygms.
The paradigm of the monastery lets us see ourselves as lighthouse in midst of a cultural crisis, welcoming place of the tradition, novelties laboratory, refuge from not convincing styles of life, home of individual lives with a sense of community, environment that integrates human being, nature and transcendence, place for personal development and service, house of wisdom.
