Analysis of Women in Judaism, in the Light of the Misná, and in Islam, in the Light of the Koran
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article addresses Judaism and Islam in a synthetic and comparative way in relation to women, in two fundamental books, the Misná and the Koran. The thought of these two books describes the role of women in the society of their time and partly in their consideration in the dogma and theology of each religion. Some brief conclusions highlight that given the complexity of the subject, they lead us to reconsider the need for a more in-depth study to establish general bases of the Jewish or Islamic woman in this religious world and her role in society and culture of our days.
