Abstract

Women have been invisible in public life, whether they belonged to royalty or nobility, or monastic life, with few exceptions. In the 20th century there has been an awakening of the consciousness of women, who have begun to work in many fields of public life. Here we will refer to the field of philosophical thought, where some women stand out with a holistic vision of people, which includes intuition, the heart, openness to others: Arendt, Weil, Stein, Zambrano are its main representatives. An interiority open to transcendence.
